What is a roll-off dumpster, and when do I need one?

A roll-off dumpster is a large, open-top container that gets delivered to your property on a specialized truck, sits on the ground while you fill it, and then gets hauled away. They're built for projects that produce more debris than your regular trash service can handle — home renovations, garage cleanouts, roof replacements, deck or fence tear-outs, moving prep, estate cleanups, and construction or remodeling jobs. If you're looking at a pile of stuff that wouldn't fit in the back of a few pickup trucks, you probably need a roll-off.

If you're a homeowner or doing a one-time project, the fastest way to get a dumpster is to book online at calloutbound.com/roll-off-dumpsters — you'll pick your size, your date, and we'll handle the rest. If you're a contractor, builder, or business that needs dumpsters regularly or across multiple job sites, fill out the contact form at calloutbound.com/contact or call us at 479-335-5579 — we'll set you up with a commercial account that fits how you actually work.

How much does a roll-off dumpster rental cost in Northwest Arkansas?

Our standard residential roll-off pricing is $545 for a 20-yard dumpster and $645 for a 30-yard dumpster, both with a 7-day rental period and included tonnage (3 tons for the 20-yard, 4 tons for the 30-yard). After 7 days, additional days are $15/day. Tonnage over the included amount is billed at $85/ton. There are no fuel surcharges, environmental fees, or mileage charges anywhere in our service area.

Do you offer volume pricing for contractors or customers who need dumpsters regularly?

Yes — we have dedicated commercial accounts for contractors, builders, property managers, and businesses that use roll-off dumpsters regularly or across multiple job sites. Commercial accounts include longer rental periods (30 days standard), simplified swap-outs across job sites, consolidated billing, and pricing that reflects your volume. The right setup depends on how many containers you typically need and how often. Give us a call at 479-335-5579 and we'll take 5 minutes to understand your projects and get you set up with the right account.

What sizes of roll-off dumpsters do you offer?

We offer 20-yard and 30-yard roll-off dumpsters, plus a heavy-duty 30-yard for materials like dirt, concrete, brick, and shingles. The 20-yard holds about 6 pickup truck loads of debris and works well for small to medium projects (single-room remodels, small roofs, garage cleanouts). The 30-yard holds about 9 pickup truck loads and is the right call for whole-house cleanouts, larger remodels, full roof replacements, and most contractor jobs. We also have clean fill cans available for concrete-only and other heavy-material loads — sometimes at a lower cost.

What can I put in a roll-off dumpster?

Most household debris, construction and demolition materials, yard waste (no dirt unless it's a clean-fill can), furniture, appliances (excluding anything containing freon), and general junk are all fair game. Common materials include drywall, lumber, flooring, cabinets, fencing, shingles, brick, and concrete (concrete and other heavy materials should go in a clean-fill can — call to confirm). If you're not sure whether something is allowed, just give us a call at 479-335-5579 before you toss it in.

Learn more: What Can and Can't Go in a Roll-Off Dumpster in Arkansas

What can't I put in a roll-off dumpster?

Anything hazardous, liquid, or restricted by law. The full prohibited list includes: liquids of any kind; anything radioactive, volatile, corrosive, highly flammable, explosive, biomedical, bio-hazardous, infectious, toxic, or otherwise hazardous; automotive fluids (oils, transmission fluid, brake fluid, antifreeze) including filters; fuels and solvents (gasoline, diesel, kerosene, acetone, lacquer thinner, MEK, paint cans with wet paint); explosives and ammunition (including fireworks and Tannerite); lead paint chips or liquid; lawn and garden chemicals (pesticides, herbicides, fungicides); contaminated soil; tires; railroad ties; batteries; televisions and computer monitors; appliances containing freon (refrigerators, freezers, A/C units); industrial waste; medical waste; asbestos-containing material; and any other material restricted by local, state, or federal law. If you accidentally put something prohibited in the dumpster, call us right away — we'd much rather help you sort it out than discover it at the landfill.

How heavy is too heavy? How do I know if I'm over the weight limit?

The 20-yard includes 3 tons (6,000 lbs) and the 30-yard includes 4 tons (8,000 lbs). Anything over those amounts is billed at $85/ton based on actual landfill scale weight. As a rough guide: a 20-yard filled with mostly drywall and lumber from a single-room remodel will usually stay under the limit; a 30-yard filled with shingles, concrete, dirt, or tile will go over fast — that's what the heavy-duty 30-yard or a clean-fill can is for. If you're not sure, call us before you start loading and we'll help you pick the right container so you don't get surprised on the back end.

Will the dumpster damage my driveway?

When metal meets concrete or asphalt, light scratching can occur — that's the honest answer. Our drivers are careful, but we can't guarantee a driveway will look identical after a roll-off has sat on it for a week.

If you want extra protection, you're welcome to lay down 4x8 sheets of plywood on the driveway where the wheels and rails will sit — we'll place the dumpster directly on top of them. Just a heads-up: our drivers don't travel with plywood, so this is something you'd need to provide and have in place before delivery. Most home improvement stores sell 4x8 sheets for around $25–$40 each. If you're worried about your driveway and don't want to deal with plywood, give us a call before delivery — we can often work out a different placement that protects the surface.

Can you place the dumpster on my lawn?

Yes, we can — but with one important caveat: we can't be held responsible for damage to sprinkler systems, ruts in the grass, or other lawn damage. The customer assumes responsibility for the property when the dumpster is placed on grass. If your yard is soft from recent rain or you've got irrigation lines you're worried about, give us a call and we'll talk through the best placement.

Can I put the dumpster on the street?

Sometimes — it depends on your city. Most NWA cities require a permit for a dumpster placed on a public street or right-of-way, and the rules vary by Bentonville, Rogers, Fayetteville, Springdale, Bella Vista, and the smaller cities we serve. We can help you figure out whether a street placement makes sense and what's required. The simpler answer is almost always to place it on your driveway or property if there's room.

Do I need a permit for a roll-off dumpster?

If the dumpster sits on your private property (driveway, yard, parking lot), you almost never need a permit. If it's placed on a public street, sidewalk, or right-of-way, your city likely requires one — and that's the customer's responsibility to obtain. HOAs sometimes have their own rules about dumpster placement and duration, so check with your HOA if you're in a managed community. If you're not sure, ask us before booking and we'll point you in the right direction.

How long can I keep the dumpster?

Our standard residential rental period is 7 days, which includes the delivery, the rental, and one pickup. After day 7, additional days are $15/day. There's no hard maximum — if you need it longer and have a card on file, you're welcome to keep it as long as you need. Commercial accounts work differently (30-day rental periods); if you're using dumpsters across multiple jobs or need longer rentals regularly, ask about a commercial account.

How fast can I get a dumpster delivered?

Most orders deliver within 24 to 48 hours of booking, and same-day delivery is often possible if you call early in the day. We service all of Northwest Arkansas from our yard in Cave Springs, which keeps delivery times fast across our 16 cities. Book online or call 479-335-5579 — we'll confirm timing when we take your order.

Where do you deliver in Northwest Arkansas?

We deliver to all of Northwest Arkansas with no mileage or delivery fees within our service area. That includes Bentonville, Rogers, Fayetteville, Springdale, Bella Vista, Centerton, Cave Springs, Pea Ridge, Siloam Springs, Prairie Grove, Farmington, West Fork, Gravette, Decatur, Gentry, and Hindsville. If your address isn't in one of those cities and you're nearby, give us a call — we'll let you know.

What if I need a swap or a second dumpster mid-project?

Easy fix. If you fill up before you're done, we can swap your full container for a fresh one — that starts a new 7-day rental period at the regular rate. Or, for smaller overflows, our junk removal team can come finish the job and clean up the site. Just call us and we'll figure out the right move.

How can I extend my rental period?

Just call us at 479-335-5579 and we'll extend your rental at $15/day. You can pay for the extra days in advance or be billed at the end. When you're ready for pickup, give us a call and we'll come grab it within 48 hours. If you have a commercial account and need it longer than 30 days we charge a "inactivity fee" of $150 for 30 more days.

Do you have any hidden fees?

No fuel surcharges, environmental fees, or mileage charges — but there are situations where additional fees can apply, and we want to be upfront about them. Overweight charges of $85/ton apply if you exceed the included tonnage. A $100 dry-run fee applies if we can't deliver or pick up because the dumpster is blocked, overfilled, or inaccessible. Cleanup fees apply if prohibited materials are loaded. Customers are responsible for damage to or loss of the container. Fayetteville orders include a 10% solid waste tax required by the city. Everything else is included in the base price you see at booking.

What if it rains and the dumpster fills with water?

Rainwater inside a dumpster adds weight, which can put you over your tonnage limit. The best move is to throw a tarp over the top during heavy rain if you can — especially if you're loading absorbent materials like drywall, carpet, or insulation. For most projects in NWA the weather risk is small, but for long rentals during a wet stretch it's worth thinking about.

What if I'm not home when you deliver?

You don't need to be home for delivery as long as we have clear instructions on where to place the dumpster and the spot is accessible. Most of our deliveries happen without the customer on-site. We'll text or call when we're on the way so you that you are kept in the loop!

Do you do interior demolition or just structural?

We focus on structural demolition — whole-house teardowns, garage and outbuilding demolition, barn demolition, commercial building removal, and selective exterior tear-outs like decks, fences, pools, and concrete pads. Interior demolition (kitchen tear-outs, bathroom gut-outs, full interior strips for remodels) isn't our typical service line. Never say never though — we'll consider interior projects on a case-by-case basis depending on scope and timing. Give us a call at 479-335-5579 with the details and we'll let you know if we're the right fit or point you toward someone who is.

Do you handle commercial demolition projects?

Yes — we handle commercial demolition projects across Northwest Arkansas, including retail spaces, restaurants, offices, warehouses, and larger commercial structures. We have the equipment, the licensed and insured crew, and the experience for projects of any size. For commercial demos we also handle the COI documentation and coordinate directly with your project manager, GC, or property owner. Call 479-335-5579 with your project details and we'll set up a site walk.

How much does demolition cost in Northwest Arkansas?

Demolition pricing depends on the structure size, materials, site access, utility disconnects, and disposal requirements — every project is quoted individually after a free site walk. As a general guide, residential demolition in NWA typically starts around $8 per square foot for straightforward projects, with larger, more complex, or commercial structures running higher depending on the scope. We give you a single all-in price that includes the demolition itself, debris removal, and site cleanup — no surprise add-ons or hidden fees.

Learn more: Garage Demolition in Northwest Arkansas — Cost, Process, and What to Expect

What's the demolition process from start to finish?

Five steps: (1) Site assessment — we visit the property, walk the structure, and identify utilities, hazardous materials, and access constraints; (2) Quote and contract — we provide a fixed-price quote based on the assessment; (3) Permits and utility disconnects — we coordinate with the city and utility companies to get the property ready; (4) Demolition — our equipment and crew handle the teardown; (5) Debris removal and site cleanup — we haul everything away and leave the site graded and clean. The full timeline depends on size, but most residential demos run 1 to 5 days on-site once permits are in hand.

Do I need permits for demolition?

Yes — almost every demolition in NWA requires a city permit, and most also require utility disconnect verification (gas, water, sewer, electric). The good news is we handle this for you. We coordinate with the city, schedule the utility disconnects, and make sure all the paperwork is in order before we start demo. Asbestos surveys are required for some structures (typically pre-1980 commercial and some older residential), and we'll let you know during the site assessment if that's needed.

Do you handle permits, demo, and cleanup — or just the demolition itself?

We handle all of it. That includes pulling permits, coordinating utility disconnects with the gas, water, sewer, and electric companies, performing the demolition, hauling away all the debris in our own roll-off dumpsters, and leaving the site graded and clean. You don't have to coordinate with the city, the utility companies, or a separate cleanup crew — we manage the entire process from the first site walk to the final cleanup. One company, one phone number, one invoice.

Can you handle both the demolition and the dumpster?

Yes — and this is one of the biggest reasons customers call us instead of stitching together two vendors. We bring our own roll-off dumpsters to demo jobs, which means one company, one phone number, one invoice. You don't have to coordinate a separate dumpster rental, deal with a second vendor showing up at the wrong time, or pay separate trip charges. It's a cleaner process and usually a faster one.

How quickly can you start and finish a demolition?

We can often begin within a few days of the quote being signed, depending on permit timelines and our crew schedule. On-site demolition time varies by project: a detached garage typically takes 1 day, residential house teardowns run 2 to 5 days, and commercial structures range from a few days to a few weeks. Add 1 to 3 weeks before that for permits and utility disconnects, depending on the city. We'll give you a realistic timeline during the quote so you can plan around it.

What happens to the debris?

We haul everything to permitted disposal facilities. Recyclable materials (clean concrete, metal) go to recycling whenever possible. Construction and demolition waste goes to permitted C&D landfills. Hazardous materials, if any are encountered, are handled by certified abatement contractors before demo begins. The site is left clean and graded — ready for the next phase of your project.

Is Outbound licensed and insured for demolition work?

Yes — Outbound Demolition is fully licensed and insured for all the demolition services we provide in Northwest Arkansas. Our coverage includes commercial general liability, commercial auto, and workers' comp. We can provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) ahead of any project that requires one — most commercial demolition projects do. Just let us know when you book and we'll send the COI before we arrive on-site.

How do I get a quote for a demolition project?

Call us at 479-335-3655 or submit a request at calloutbound.com/contact. We'll set up a site visit, walk the property, and give you a fixed-price quote that covers demolition, debris removal, and cleanup. Most quotes come back within a few business days of the site walk.

What are Outbound Job Site Solutions?

Job Site Solutions are the broader services we provide to contractors, builders, property managers, and commercial customers beyond a single dumpster. That includes snow and ice removal in winter, erosion control and silt fencing for active job sites, lot clearing (bulldozing and tree removal), and managing dumpsters and demolition across multiple sites under a single account. The idea is simple: you focus on the build, we clear the way.

Do you offer snow and ice removal in Northwest Arkansas?

Yes — we provide commercial snow and ice removal services across Northwest Arkansas during winter weather events. That includes plowing parking lots, driveways, and access roads; hand shoveling sidewalks, entryways, and steps; pre-treating surfaces with brine before storms; and applying bagged ice melt for traction and slip prevention. We work with property managers, retail centers, office buildings, and contractors who need their sites accessible after a snow or ice event. Call 479-335-5579 to set up a snow and ice service agreement before the next storm hits — winter service contracts are typically arranged in advance so you're on the route when the weather turns.

Do you do lot clearing, bulldozing, and tree removal?

Yes — we provide lot clearing services including bulldozing and tree removal for residential, commercial, and development projects across Northwest Arkansas. This is often the first step before a construction project starts: clearing brush, removing trees, grading the site, and hauling away the debris. We can pair lot clearing with our roll-off dumpsters and structural demolition services so the entire site-prep phase is handled by one company. Call 479-335-5579 with your lot details and we'll get out for a site walk and quote.

What is junk removal, and how is it different from a dumpster rental?

Junk removal is full-service: our crew shows up, does all the loading, hauls everything away, and sweeps up when we're done. Dumpster rental is self-service: we drop a container, you fill it on your own time, and we come pick it up.

Junk removal is the right call when you don't want to do the loading yourself, you have a smaller volume of stuff (less than a dumpster's worth), or you need it gone fast. Dumpster rental is the right call when you've got a bigger project and you want to load on your own schedule. Outbound does both — and unlike national franchises that only do one or the other, we'll honestly tell you which one makes more sense for your situation.

Learn more: Junk Removal vs. Renting a Dumpster — Which One Is Right for Your Project?

How much does junk removal cost in Northwest Arkansas?

Junk removal in NWA starts at a $125 minimum charge for small loads, and pricing scales up based on how much space your items take up in the truck — broken down into 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and full truckload pricing. Our trucks hold the equivalent of about seven pickup truck loads, so even a full truck handles a lot.

For heavy materials like dirt, concrete, gravel, or shingles, pricing is based on volume up to a maximum height of one foot in the truck (because weight, not just space, becomes the constraint). For certain single items (mattresses, single appliances, TVs), we offer flat-rate pricing that's sometimes less than the $125 minimum.

Is there a minimum charge for junk removal?

Yes — our minimum charge is $125. That covers up to about 1/8 of a truckload, which is roughly the equivalent of 1–2 small items, a single piece of furniture, or a tight pickup-truck-bed worth of debris. If you have less than that, single-item flat rates may be a better fit (mattresses, TVs, single appliances). For everything else, the $125 minimum is the floor and pricing scales up from there based on volume.

Can you give me an exact price over the phone?

For most jobs, no — we need to see the items in person to give you an accurate price, since pricing is based on volume in the truck. For some single-item removals (mattresses, single appliances, TVs) we can give you a flat-rate quote over the phone. The best path is a free, no-obligation onsite estimate: we come out, look at your stuff, give you the exact price, and you decide whether to go ahead. If the price doesn't work for you, we leave — no charge, no pressure.

What's a no-obligation onsite estimate?

It's exactly what it sounds like: we send a uniformed crew to your location, they look at the items you want removed, and they give you a final price before any work starts. If you say yes, they get to work right then. If you say no, they leave — no charge, no pressure. We do this because pricing is based on volume in the truck, and we'd rather give you an accurate price in person than guess high or low over the phone. Most onsite estimates take 5–10 minutes.

What items can you take?

Most household and commercial junk: mattresses and box springs, couches and other furniture, appliances, electronics and TVs, exercise equipment, yard debris, construction debris, hot tubs, sheds, playsets, and pretty much anything two people can lift and load. We pull items from anywhere on the property — garage, basement, attic, backyard — you don't have to drag everything to the curb. If you're not sure whether we can take something specific, give us a call at 479-335-5579 and we'll let you know.

What items can't you take?

Hazardous materials, primarily. The full prohibited list: liquids of any kind; anything radioactive, volatile, corrosive, highly flammable, explosive, biomedical, infectious, or toxic; automotive fluids and filters; fuels and solvents (gasoline, diesel, kerosene, paint thinner); explosives and ammunition; lead paint; lawn and garden chemicals; contaminated soil; tires; railroad ties; batteries; medical waste; asbestos-containing material. If you have something on this list and you're not sure how to dispose of it properly, we can usually point you to the right resource — just ask.

Can you take refrigerators, freezers, and appliances with freon?

Yes — we take refrigerators, freezers, window A/C units, and other appliances containing freon. The EPA requires refrigerant to be properly recovered before these appliances can go to final disposal, so there's typically a small additional fee on these items to cover the certified recovery process at the disposal facility. You don't have to track down a separate recycler or schedule a freon-removal appointment — we handle the chain of custody so the appliance ends up at a facility that can do the recovery legally and document it. Standard appliances without freon (washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, microwaves) are taken at our normal volume-based pricing.

Can you take mattresses, furniture, and bulky items?

Absolutely — these are some of our most common pickups. Mattresses and box springs (any size, including king and California king), couches and sectionals, recliners, dressers, armoires, dining tables, desks, hot tubs, sheds, playsets, and other big-and-awkward pieces. As long as two people can lift and load it, we'll take it. For really heavy or oversized items like hot tubs and sheds, give us a heads-up when you book so we can plan the right crew and equipment.

Can you take electronics, TVs, and e-waste?

Yes — TVs of any size, computers and monitors, printers, stereo equipment, gaming systems, small electronics, and general e-waste. Electronics often contain materials that don't belong in landfills, so we route e-waste to certified recycling facilities whenever possible. Single TVs and single electronics often qualify for flat-rate pricing that's below our $125 minimum, so call 479-335-5579 with the specific item if you've just got one or two pieces to get rid of.

Can you take paint?

Yes, but only if it's fully dried. Liquid paint isn't allowed in our trucks. To dry latex paint at home, leave the can open with kitty litter or a paint hardener mixed in until it's solid — usually 24 to 48 hours. Oil-based paint should go to a household hazardous waste facility (we can point you to the right one in your area). Once your paint is dry, we'll take the cans as part of a regular pickup.

How fast can you come pick up junk in NWA?

Most pickups are scheduled within 24 to 48 hours, and same-day service is often available if you call early. We service all of Northwest Arkansas — Bentonville, Rogers, Fayetteville, Springdale, Bella Vista, Centerton, Cave Springs, and the surrounding cities — from our yard in Cave Springs, which keeps response times fast. Call 479-335-5579 to check availability for your day.

How do I schedule a junk removal pickup?

Call us at 479-335-5579 or submit a request at calloutbound.com/contact. We'll set up a free onsite estimate at a time that works for you. Most appointments are scheduled within a few days, and same-day or next-day is often possible. On the day of your appointment, our crew will call or text 25–30 minutes before arrival so you know exactly when to expect us.

Do I need to be home during the junk removal?

Not necessarily. If the items are accessible (outside, in an unlocked garage, or in a clearly marked location) and you can take care of payment over the phone, we can complete the job without you being on-site. If the items are inside a locked house or you want to walk through what's going and what's staying, you (or someone you trust) should plan to be there. Whichever works for you — just let us know when you book.

Will I know when you're on the way?

Yes — on the day of your appointment, our crew will call or text 25 to 30 minutes before we arrive so you know exactly when to expect us. No 4-hour delivery windows, no waiting around all day. If anything changes during the day (traffic, an earlier job running long), we'll keep you posted.

What does Outbound do with the junk you remove?

Our goal is to keep as much out of the landfill as possible. We donate items in usable condition to local NWA charities including Helping Hands, Habitat for Humanity ReStore, and Goodwill — all three accept furniture, appliances, household goods, and other items that have life left in them. Recyclable materials (metals, electronics, certain plastics) go to recycling. Only what truly has no other path goes to a permitted landfill, and we use facilities that follow all local and state disposal regulations.

Should I rent a dumpster instead of using junk removal?

Honestly? Sometimes yes — and we'll tell you straight up when that's the case. If you're filling more than about 3/4 of a truckload, a 20-yard or 30-yard roll-off dumpster is usually cheaper per cubic yard, and you get to load on your own schedule over 7 days. Junk removal makes more sense when you don't want to do the loading yourself, you need it gone fast, or you have less than a dumpster's worth of stuff. The advantage of calling Outbound is that we offer both — we'll point you toward whichever option saves you money on your specific job.

Do you offer commercial or recurring junk removal?

Yes — we work with property managers, real estate companies, retail businesses, restaurants, offices, and other commercial customers across NWA. We can set up recurring pickups (weekly, monthly, quarterly), one-time cleanouts, post-tenant cleanouts, and storage unit cleanouts. Recurring service comes with volume discounts, and commercial accounts include consolidated monthly billing and NET 30 terms with approved credit. Call 479-335-5579 to set up a commercial junk removal account.

Who is Outbound?

Outbound is a locally owned and operated roll-off dumpster, demolition, junk removal, and job site services company based in Bentonville, Arkansas, serving Northwest Arkansas since 2021. We were founded by Bryan Seba and Kade Fields after experiencing firsthand the hidden fees, slow delivery times, and frustrating customer service that defined the existing options in the NWA market. We built Outbound on three principles: flat-rate pricing with no hidden fees, fast delivery (most jobs within 24 to 48 hours), and direct customer service from people who actually live and work in the region. Our headquarters is at 1008 NW J St Suite F in Bentonville, and our service yard is in Cave Springs.

What's the difference between a roll-off dumpster, junk removal, and trash service?

Three different services for three different jobs.

A roll-off dumpster is a large open-top container (20 to 30 cubic yards) that gets dropped at your property for a project. You load it on your own schedule, and the company picks it up when you're done. Best for: construction, remodels, large cleanouts, roofing, demolition debris.

Junk removal is full-service: a crew shows up, loads everything for you, and hauls it away in one visit. Best for: smaller cleanouts, hands-off removal, single bulky items, situations where you don't want to do the loading yourself.

Trash service (residential garbage or commercial dumpster service from your city or a hauling company) is for ongoing weekly waste — kitchen trash, household garbage, regular business waste. It's a long-term, recurring service with smaller containers (typically 64 to 96 gallon carts or 2 to 8 cubic yard front-load dumpsters).

Outbound provides roll-off dumpsters and junk removal. Trash service is a separate category — your city or a company like Republic, Waste Connections, or Inland Waste handles that.

Should I rent a dumpster, hire junk removal, or just take it to the landfill myself?

Depends on three things: how much you have, how much your time is worth, and whether you can lift and load the items yourself.

DIY landfill trips work for small loads — a single pickup truck full of yard debris, one piece of furniture, a few bags of stuff. Your only cost is the dump fee (usually $25 to $75 in NWA depending on the facility and the load) plus your time and gas. The downside: lifting, loading, hauling, unloading, and probably making multiple trips.

Junk removal makes sense for medium loads where you don't want to do the lifting and loading. Common scenarios: clearing out a garage, getting rid of an old hot tub, post-tenant cleanouts, mattress and bulky furniture removal. Outbound's junk removal in NWA starts at a $125 minimum.

Dumpster rental makes sense for projects that generate debris over multiple days, anything bigger than a half-truckload of junk removal volume, and any construction or remodeling work. You get the container for 7 to 30 days depending on whether you book residential or commercial, you load on your own schedule, and we haul it all away when you're done.

Rule of thumb: less than a pickup-truck-bed worth → DIY. One to two pickup trucks worth → junk removal. More than three pickup trucks worth, or a multi-day project → dumpster.

What's the difference between a local dumpster company and a national franchise or aggregator?

It's bigger than just "local vs. corporate" — there are real structural differences that affect what you pay and what kind of service you get.

A local dumpster company (like Outbound) owns its own trucks, containers, and dispatch. When you call, you're talking to the people who deliver and pick up your dumpster. Pricing is set locally, customer service is local, and the company has a long-term reputation to maintain in the community.

A national franchise is a local operator who paid a franchise fee for the right to use a national brand name. They pay ongoing royalties (a percentage of revenue) back to the franchisor every month, plus marketing fund contributions. All of that gets built into what you pay. The local operator is technically local, but the corporate overhead isn't.

An aggregator is a broker — a company with a national 1-800 number and a slick website that takes your order, marks it up, and places it with whatever local hauler in your area will accept the job. The aggregator has no truck, no container, and no operational stake in your experience. They've already collected their margin the moment you book.

For NWA specifically: most of the top Google results for "dumpster rental near me" are aggregators or franchise pages, not local companies. Calling the local company directly almost always saves money and improves service quality.

What questions should I ask before renting a dumpster or booking junk removal?

Five questions cut through the noise:

1. Is this the total price, or will there be additional fees on the invoice? (The number-one source of customer frustration in this industry is fees that show up after booking.)

2. Do you charge fuel surcharges, environmental fees, or delivery/pickup fees on top of the base price? (A transparent company builds these into the base price. A company that itemizes them is using them to make their base quote look artificially low.)

3. How long is the rental period, and what happens if I need it longer? (A 7-day rental with daily overage is fundamentally different from a 30-day flat rental at the same advertised price.)

4. What's the included weight, and what's the overage rate per ton? (Industry overages range from $75 to $100 per ton — Outbound's is $85 per ton residential.)

5. Is delivery and pickup included, or are those separate fees?

A company that answers all five clearly and without hedging is a company worth booking. A company that gets vague is showing you what the invoice is going to look like.

How does roll-off dumpster rental actually work?

Six steps from call to cleanup.

Step 1 — Quote and book: You call or book online with the dumpster size, drop-off date, and address. Quote is firm — no surprise fees on the back end (with us, anyway).

Step 2 — Delivery: A truck with a specialized hydraulic hoist (a "roll-off" truck) tilts the dumpster off the back and slides it into place at your property. Most deliveries take 5 to 10 minutes once the truck arrives. We can place the dumpster on a paved driveway, on grass with plywood protection, or in some cases on a public street with a permit.

Step 3 — Loading: You fill the container at your own pace over the rental period — 7 days for residential, 30 days for commercial customers. Don't exceed the included weight tonnage and don't load prohibited items (hazmat, liquids, tires, freon appliances — full list available on request).

Step 4 — Pickup: When you're done, you call to schedule a pickup. We send the same kind of truck back, hook the dumpster, and haul it off your property.

Step 5 — Disposal: The dumpster goes to a permitted disposal facility — a transfer station for sorting, a C&D landfill for construction debris, or a recycling facility for clean concrete and metal. The truck gets weighed in and out so we know exactly how much was in it.

Step 6 — Invoice: You get a final invoice with the base rate, any weight overage if the load was over the included tonnage, and any local taxes (Fayetteville has a 10% solid waste tax that all haulers are required to collect inside city limits). Payment is due within 15 days.

Why do dumpster rental prices vary so much between companies?

Three reasons.

First, the fee structure. Some companies advertise a low base price ($299, $349) and add fuel surcharges (10–18%), environmental fees (13–19%), delivery fees ($50–$150), and pickup fees ($50–$150) on the back end. A $299 quote can become a $700 invoice. Other companies (including us) build everything into a flat price so the quote and the invoice match.

Second, rental period and overage structure. A 7-day rental with $15/day overage is a fundamentally different product than a 30-day flat rental, even if the upfront prices look similar. A project that runs three weeks generates 14 days of overage at $15/day — $210 added to the bill that wasn't in the quote.

Third, the company structure (covered in detail in the local-vs-national question above). Aggregators and franchises have to mark up to cover middleman fees and corporate royalties. Local owner-operators don't.

The practical takeaway: a $400 quote and a $550 quote often turn into the same $700 invoice once all the fees and overages are added. Don't compare base prices — compare total invoices.

What does Outbound do differently than other dumpster, junk removal, and demolition companies in NWA?

Four things, all structural rather than promotional.

One, flat-rate pricing. The quote is the invoice. No fuel surcharges, no environmental fees, no separate delivery or pickup charges. The only line items that ever get added are weight overage if the load exceeds the included tonnage, and the Fayetteville solid waste tax for projects inside city limits.

Two, four services under one roof. Roll-off dumpsters, junk removal, structural demolition, and job site solutions (snow and ice removal, erosion control and silt fencing, lot clearing). Most NWA companies only do one or two of these. We can solve a multi-step project — demo, dumpster, cleanup — with one phone call and one invoice.

Three, real same-day delivery. Most national brands advertise it; what they actually mean is same-day booking for next-day delivery. We run our own trucks and our own schedule, and if you call before noon we can almost always get you a container the same day.

Four, honest cross-service guidance. We'll tell you when junk removal is the wrong call and you should rent a dumpster, and we'll tell you when a dumpster is overkill and junk removal is the better fit. National junk removal companies can't do that because they don't offer dumpsters. National dumpster companies can't do that because they don't offer junk removal. We do both.

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), cash, and checks from business accounts. For online and phone orders, we collect payment by credit card at the time of booking. Commercial accounts have NET 30 invoice terms available with approved credit.

Is Outbound licensed and insured?

Yes — fully licensed and insured for all services we provide. Coverage includes commercial general liability, commercial auto, and workers' comp. We can provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) ahead of any job that requires one — see the COI question below for details on requesting one.

Can I get a Certificate of Insurance (COI) for my project?

Yes — we provide COIs for any job that requires one. This is common for commercial projects, HOA-managed properties, gated communities, and insurance-required work. When you book, just let us know you need a COI and provide: (1) the certificate holder's name as it should appear on the document, (2) the certificate holder's address, and (3) any specific coverage limits or additional insured language the holder requires. We'll send the COI ahead of your scheduled service date.

How do I set up a business or commercial account?

Call us at 479-335-5579 and ask to set up a business account. We'll take about 5 minutes to understand your typical project volume, the services you'll need, and your billing preferences. Most accounts get approved and set up the same day. Once your account is active, ordering is a single phone call, billing is consolidated monthly, and NET 30 terms are available with approved credit.

How do I get a copy of my invoice?

Invoices are emailed automatically after each completed job to the email address on your account. If you didn't receive one or need a copy of a past invoice, call 479-335-5579 or email kade@calloutbound.com — we'll get it to you the same day.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Call us at 479-335-5579 as soon as you know. If you reach us before the truck has been dispatched, there's no charge to reschedule or cancel. If we've already dispatched and the truck is en route or on-site, a dry-run fee of $100 may apply. We try to be flexible because projects shift — earlier notice always works better than later.

Can you come during off-hours to avoid disrupting business?

Yes — for commercial customers we work around your operating hours so deliveries, pickups, and junk removal don't interfere with your business or your customers. Early morning, after-hours, and weekend service are available with advance scheduling. Let us know your operating hours when you book and we'll plan around them.

How do I get in touch with Outbound?

Phone: 479-335-5579 (call or text). Online: calloutbound.com/contact. Email: kade@calloutbound.com. Headquarters: 1008 NW J St Suite F, Bentonville, AR. Service yard: Cave Springs, AR. We answer the phone during business hours, return messages quickly, and a real local person will be on the other end of every call.

Do you offer recurring or scheduled service for ongoing job sites?

Yes — for active job sites we can set up recurring scheduled swaps (weekly, biweekly, monthly) or on-demand service triggered by a phone call from your superintendent. Recurring pricing comes with volume discounts. Set it up once and it runs on autopilot until the project wraps.

Can you coordinate with our project superintendent or site manager?

Absolutely — and this is how most of our commercial relationships work. Once your account is set up, your super or site manager can call us directly to schedule swaps, request additional containers, or adjust the schedule. We keep the lines short and the response time fast.

Do you offer commercial accounts with consolidated billing?

Yes — commercial accounts include consolidated monthly billing across all your job sites, NET 30 terms (with approved credit), and detailed invoicing so your accounting team can match charges to jobs and projects. Set up a commercial account by calling 479-335-5579 and we'll get you onboarded.
