FAQs

Let's cover a few of the basics when working with us!

How do I book a dumpster?

If you're a homeowner or one-time customer, the fastest way is to book online at calloutbound.com/roll-off-dumpsters — pick your size, pick your date, and we'll take care of the rest.

If you're a contractor, builder, or business, fill out the contact form at calloutbound.com/contact or give us a call at 479-335-5579 and we'll get you set up with a commercial account that fits your project schedule. Either way, most orders deliver within 24 to 48 hours — and same-day is often possible if you call early.

What is a roll-off dumpster, and when do I need one?

A roll-off dumpster is a large, open-top container that gets delivered to your property on a specialized truck, sits on the ground while you fill it, and then gets hauled away. They're built for projects that produce more debris than your regular trash service can handle — home renovations, garage cleanouts, roof replacements, deck or fence tear-outs, moving prep, estate cleanups, and construction or remodeling jobs. If you're looking at a pile of stuff that wouldn't fit in the back of a few pickup trucks, you probably need a roll-off.

If you're a homeowner or doing a one-time project, the fastest way to get a dumpster is to book online at calloutbound.com/roll-off-dumpsters — you'll pick your size, your date, and we'll handle the rest. If you're a contractor, builder, or business that needs dumpsters regularly or across multiple job sites, fill out the contact form at calloutbound.com/contact or call us at 479-335-5579 — we'll set you up with a commercial account that fits how you actually work.

How much does a roll-off dumpster rental cost in Northwest Arkansas?

Our standard residential roll-off pricing is $545 for a 20-yard dumpster and $645 for a 30-yard dumpster, both with a 7-day rental period and included tonnage (3 tons for the 20-yard, 4 tons for the 30-yard). After 7 days, additional days are $15/day. Tonnage over the included amount is billed at $85/ton. There are no fuel surcharges, environmental fees, or mileage charges anywhere in our service area.

Do you offer volume pricing for contractors or customers who need dumpsters regularly?

Yes — we have dedicated commercial accounts for contractors, builders, property managers, and businesses that use roll-off dumpsters regularly or across multiple job sites. Commercial accounts include longer rental periods (30 days standard), simplified swap-outs across job sites, consolidated billing, and pricing that reflects your volume. The right setup depends on how many containers you typically need and how often. Give us a call at 479-335-5579 and we'll take 5 minutes to understand your projects and get you set up with the right account.

What sizes of roll-off dumpsters do you offer?

We offer 20-yard and 30-yard roll-off dumpsters, plus a heavy-duty 30-yard for materials like dirt, concrete, brick, and shingles. The 20-yard holds about 6 pickup truck loads of debris and works well for small to medium projects (single-room remodels, small roofs, garage cleanouts). The 30-yard holds about 9 pickup truck loads and is the right call for whole-house cleanouts, larger remodels, full roof replacements, and most contractor jobs. We also have clean fill cans available for concrete-only and other heavy-material loads — sometimes at a lower cost.

What can I put in a roll-off dumpster?

Most household debris, construction and demolition materials, yard waste (no dirt unless it's a clean-fill can), furniture, appliances (excluding anything containing freon), and general junk are all fair game. Common materials include drywall, lumber, flooring, cabinets, fencing, shingles, brick, and concrete (concrete and other heavy materials should go in a clean-fill can — call to confirm). If you're not sure whether something is allowed, just give us a call at 479-335-5579 before you toss it in.

What can't I put in a roll-off dumpster?

Anything hazardous, liquid, or restricted by law. The full prohibited list includes: liquids of any kind; anything radioactive, volatile, corrosive, highly flammable, explosive, biomedical, bio-hazardous, infectious, toxic, or otherwise hazardous; automotive fluids (oils, transmission fluid, brake fluid, antifreeze) including filters; fuels and solvents (gasoline, diesel, kerosene, acetone, lacquer thinner, MEK, paint cans with wet paint); explosives and ammunition (including fireworks and Tannerite); lead paint chips or liquid; lawn and garden chemicals (pesticides, herbicides, fungicides); contaminated soil; tires; railroad ties; batteries; televisions and computer monitors; appliances containing freon (refrigerators, freezers, A/C units); industrial waste; medical waste; asbestos-containing material; and any other material restricted by local, state, or federal law. If you accidentally put something prohibited in the dumpster, call us right away — we'd much rather help you sort it out than discover it at the landfill.

How heavy is too heavy? How do I know if I'm over the weight limit?

The 20-yard includes 3 tons (6,000 lbs) and the 30-yard includes 4 tons (8,000 lbs). Anything over those amounts is billed at $85/ton based on actual landfill scale weight. As a rough guide: a 20-yard filled with mostly drywall and lumber from a single-room remodel will usually stay under the limit; a 30-yard filled with shingles, concrete, dirt, or tile will go over fast — that's what the heavy-duty 30-yard or a clean-fill can is for. If you're not sure, call us before you start loading and we'll help you pick the right container so you don't get surprised on the back end.

Will the dumpster damage my driveway?

When metal meets concrete or asphalt, light scratching can occur — that's the honest answer. Our drivers are careful, but we can't guarantee a driveway will look identical after a roll-off has sat on it for a week.

If you want extra protection, you're welcome to lay down 4x8 sheets of plywood on the driveway where the wheels and rails will sit — we'll place the dumpster directly on top of them. Just a heads-up: our drivers don't travel with plywood, so this is something you'd need to provide and have in place before delivery. Most home improvement stores sell 4x8 sheets for around $25–$40 each. If you're worried about your driveway and don't want to deal with plywood, give us a call before delivery — we can often work out a different placement that protects the surface.

Can you place the dumpster on my lawn?

Yes, we can — but with one important caveat: we can't be held responsible for damage to sprinkler systems, ruts in the grass, or other lawn damage. The customer assumes responsibility for the property when the dumpster is placed on grass. If your yard is soft from recent rain or you've got irrigation lines you're worried about, give us a call and we'll talk through the best placement.

Can I put the dumpster on the street?

Sometimes — it depends on your city. Most NWA cities require a permit for a dumpster placed on a public street or right-of-way, and the rules vary by Bentonville, Rogers, Fayetteville, Springdale, Bella Vista, and the smaller cities we serve. We can help you figure out whether a street placement makes sense and what's required. The simpler answer is almost always to place it on your driveway or property if there's room.

Do I need a permit for a roll-off dumpster?

If the dumpster sits on your private property (driveway, yard, parking lot), you almost never need a permit. If it's placed on a public street, sidewalk, or right-of-way, your city likely requires one — and that's the customer's responsibility to obtain. HOAs sometimes have their own rules about dumpster placement and duration, so check with your HOA if you're in a managed community. If you're not sure, ask us before booking and we'll point you in the right direction.

How long can I keep the dumpster?

Our standard residential rental period is 7 days, which includes the delivery, the rental, and one pickup. After day 7, additional days are $15/day. There's no hard maximum — if you need it longer and have a card on file, you're welcome to keep it as long as you need. Commercial accounts work differently (30-day rental periods); if you're using dumpsters across multiple jobs or need longer rentals regularly, ask about a commercial account.

How fast can I get a dumpster delivered?

Most orders deliver within 24 to 48 hours of booking, and same-day delivery is often possible if you call early in the day. We service all of Northwest Arkansas from our yard in Cave Springs, which keeps delivery times fast across our 16 cities. Book online or call 479-335-5579 — we'll confirm timing when we take your order.

Where do you deliver in Northwest Arkansas?

We deliver to all of Northwest Arkansas with no mileage or delivery fees within our service area. That includes Bentonville, Rogers, Fayetteville, Springdale, Bella Vista, Centerton, Cave Springs, Pea Ridge, Siloam Springs, Prairie Grove, Farmington, West Fork, Gravette, Decatur, Gentry, and Hindsville. If your address isn't in one of those cities and you're nearby, give us a call — we'll let you know.

What if I need a swap or a second dumpster mid-project?

Easy fix. If you fill up before you're done, we can swap your full container for a fresh one — that starts a new 7-day rental period at the regular rate. Or, for smaller overflows, our junk removal team can come finish the job and clean up the site. Just call us and we'll figure out the right move.

How can I extend my rental period?

Just call us at 479-335-5579 and we'll extend your rental at $15/day. You can pay for the extra days in advance or be billed at the end. When you're ready for pickup, give us a call and we'll come grab it within 48 hours. If you have a commercial account and need it longer than 30 days we charge a "inactivity fee" of $150 for 30 more days.

Do you have any hidden fees?

No fuel surcharges, environmental fees, or mileage charges — but there are situations where additional fees can apply, and we want to be upfront about them. Overweight charges of $85/ton apply if you exceed the included tonnage. A $100 dry-run fee applies if we can't deliver or pick up because the dumpster is blocked, overfilled, or inaccessible. Cleanup fees apply if prohibited materials are loaded. Customers are responsible for damage to or loss of the container. Fayetteville orders include a 10% solid waste tax required by the city. Everything else is included in the base price you see at booking.

What if it rains and the dumpster fills with water?

Rainwater inside a dumpster adds weight, which can put you over your tonnage limit. The best move is to throw a tarp over the top during heavy rain if you can — especially if you're loading absorbent materials like drywall, carpet, or insulation. For most projects in NWA the weather risk is small, but for long rentals during a wet stretch it's worth thinking about.

What if I'm not home when you deliver?

You don't need to be home for delivery as long as we have clear instructions on where to place the dumpster and the spot is accessible. Most of our deliveries happen without the customer on-site. We'll text or call when we're on the way so you that you are kept in the loop!
